It feels like you're on Broadway, but no one nags you. Karen and Peter rock!" Derek Marble - age 9 SING-DANCE-ACT This is our 8th year of two week programs for 7-14 yr. olds. Our program offers vocal coaching, theater games,acting,choreography, and finishes with a musical review for family and friends. We limit each session to 30 kids, so everyone can be featured. The 2-week Camp sessions start on June 28 (FULL), July 12(FULL)and July 26 Mon. - Thurs. 9 am - 1pm and Fri. 9 am-12 noon L.H.U.M. PIANO and VOICE LESSONS with PETER RANDAZZO Voice Training - the instrument... Vocal training is different from studying other musical instruments, mainly because your "vocal instrument" is part of your body. A student has to know how it feels to sing properly as much as how it sounds. My goal is to give each student a solid foundation in vocal techniques, that they can apply to all the different styles of music. Lessons are divided between vocal exercise, technique development and coaching song performance. I work with each student to find songs that they will enjoy singing, yet are challenging enough to be of value in their musical development. Because I am a pianist and a musical director, students get the added benifit of working with an experienced accompanist. Piano - the enjoyment of the challenge... As a piano teacher, my main goal is to keep students excited about playing, while developing the fundamentals of being a good pianist and musician. I do stress the importance of reading music, which I do through the use of the Alfred series of piano books which I like. I also give them a variety of pieces to play, from classical to pop.
